Everything I learned - Senior Year

It was only so long ago that we were nervous for the beginning of something new...



Now the time has come for a new beginning....



But the memories and love will bring me comfort and shall be carried within my heart for the rest of time

    Aw Harris, I love this. It is short and simple and truly gets straight to the point. I wish I could do that but I always have to have loonngggg responses. I also love how you included photos. Photos mean everything and more when there are no words, I hope that made sense. I remember walking into high school scared and now I have the same feeling of college. #circleoflife I wish you the absolute best!

C: 3- I think generally, the IOC was coherent but I don't think that it was entirely effective. The Importance of Translation

Translation as a whole: Original Sentence:  Als Gregor Samsa eines Morgens aus unruhigen Träumen erwachte, fand er sich in seinem Bett zu einem ungeheuren Ungeziefer verwandelt.  Translations:   #1:Gregory Samsa woke from uneasy dreams one morning to find himself changed into a giant bug. This translation has a simplistic structure, with limited use of imagery. The bug is described as giant and his dreams as uneasy however that is the only descriptions given to the author. In addition, the type of syntax used is general for the sentence follows the structure of subject + verb + object. As a result of the translation's limited use of imagery and general syntax, the sentence has a simple tone.  #2:When Gregor Samsa awoke from troubled dreams one morning he found he had been transformed in his bed into an enormous bug.
